A new, thriving litter of registered/certified Great Dane puppies arrived in the early hours of November 11, 2025. Our first-time Fawn mother Dusty and our massive 3-year-old proven boy Kiffin (photos above) welcomed a hearty group of puppies who have already received a perfect newborn checkup and had their dew claws removed. As expected with first-time litters, the numbers of pups in the pack are small but the pups themselves are MIGHTY – sporting a well above average birth weight. ONE MANTLE PUPPY REMAINS – 9-weeks old – UTD on vaccinations – dew claws removed – microchipped.

All adults and puppies born at Deep South Danes are AKC registered/certified, vet checked regularly with all vaccinations current, dew claws removed and each is microchipped. Regular, consistent de-worming and intense socialization are also included.

Deep South Danes - located in North Mississippi - is loaded with magnificent Danes of all coloring and markings; predominantly Fawns, Merles, Blues, Blacks, Mantles, Piebalds and Harlequins. The bloodlines represented are healthy (monitored by our certified veterinarian in Oxford Mississippi) and heavily socialized before transfer. Although many of our pups have "show quality" markings and size, our primary goal at DSD is to raise massive, healthy and socialized family pets who are comfortably socialized around kids, other dogs who will provide many healthy years of loyal companionship.
